
Hunaina Hirji is a filmmaker based in Orange County, California. Currently studying Film and Television Production at Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts, she creates work that blends visual storytelling with immersive sound design.
Driven by a commitment to authentic storytelling, her films center on themes of identity, community, and connection. Through emotionally layered narratives and intentional sonic worlds, she aims to craft stories that resonate with honesty and heart.
Hunaina’s work has been recognized with back-to-back Artist of the Year Finalist honors by the Orange County Register, and she was named Filmmaker of the Year at the 2024 Orange County Film Festival.
